St John - Local Full and Half Day Charters

Local Full Day Charter (7 1/2 hours)

Our full day local excursion (not into the BVI) starts at a leisurely 9 am from Great Cruz Bay. We'll spread out the charts and make a list of your chosen activities, or just begin with a shoreline cruise and let the day unfold. We'll take you back to your favorite hidden spots or show you the "local stops" off the beaten trails where you can choose from sites accessible only by boat. Bring a lunch and beverages and save even more time for your "to do list" of activities, Or stop for lunch at Shipwreck Landing in Coral Bay. If you've come over from St Thomas there are also lunch stops at Cinnamon Bay, Caneel Bay or in Cruz Bay (a charming town with wonderful restaurants)! Beach comb, bird watch and Nature "photo op" to your hearts content as we circumnavigate (weather permitting) the over 20-30 miles of magnificent St. John coastline. No stop is more than a 30 minute boat ride from the next so those who are unsure of their seaworthiness can rest assured of a break very soon. Capt Bob has a plethora of local history, folklore, and island rumors to share along the way!

Snorkel sites vary with each group's ability and comfort level. Your choices may include Cays such as Congo, Two Brother's, Grass or Mingo, St James, Blunder Rocks, Carval, Whistling, Waterlemon, Brown Bay, Newfound Bay, Flannigan Island, Hurricane Holes, Booby Rocks, Lameshure Bay, Cocolobo and Rata cays to name just a few of the many more possibilities. Along the way we'll motor through the Virgin Islands National Park on both the north and south sides. Local Half Day Charters (3 1/2 hours)

A half day charter is a great option for family groups that aren't sure if everyone is cut out for a full day of activity on the water, or for those who just don't want to take up a full day of their precious vacation time. A half day still allows plenty of time for one or two snorkel stops and some great shoreline cruising or bird watching. We can offer a list of activities to choose from to meet your desires.
